Premiere/Facial Hair

The above photographs may seem random now, but shall be explained later.

ANYWAYS!

At the request of another blogger, I have created a blog of my own: Slateland, a utopia of useless information that is exclusive to the internet! I shall chronicle the imponderable, document the weird, and critique all that there is to judge.

On a more casual note, I have been wandering lately whether certain facial hair styles appeal to one age group more than the other. For instance, I have always considered flat out mustaches to be rather creepy(I call them "molestaches"). However, the older crowd seems to be the most interested in this upper-lip caterpillar, as opposed to the beard style that I associate with the younger crowd called a "neard"(near-beard). Popular for some inexplicable reason, the neard seems to be a combination of the five-o-clock shadow and some kind of grungy goatee, as the goatee tends to be the most prominent in the neard style. Above you scan see example photos of both styles.

Well as random as that was, I will post more later. I might possibly add an update on something you may be unfamiliar with, we will see.

Stay frosty, folks
